Hi, I'm Ria. Owner, Baker & Cake Decorator at
Yummy-Scrummy Cakes.
I am completely self-taught, and always learning new tricks!
How it all began...
It all started on my eldest son's first birthday....I had never baked before, but thought it would be a fun(!) challenge to make his birthday cake. Well, it certainly was a challenge! What had I let myself in for?! From there on in it was presumed I would make his cake for each birthday, and his younger brother's too when he came along!
What started as an annual event back in 2006, turned into a hobby in 2011, and finally a Fully Registered Home Business in April 2012.
I have become obsessed with all things cake! I'm very lucky that my job is something that I'm passionate about. Each cake I create is 100% homemade, with 100% attention and an extra sprinkle of cakey love!
My belief is that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance and I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
With a warm, friendly and informal approach, I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust whilst delivering to you the best service I possibly can.

I work Yummy-Scrummy Cakes around my family - so I mainly work during school hours (and in busier periods/ school holidays, 8pm-2am...yes, that's dedication for you!)
However, I am available most weekday evenings 8pm-10pm to answer any queries via email/text and Facebook inbox message. I endeavour to reply to all messages within 24hrs.
